Welcoming New Pastor

Crenshaw United Methodist Church is welcoming its new pastor, Rev. Steven C. Snodgrass, who has been appointed by the Virginia United Methodist Conference. He’ll preach his initial sermon here this coming Sunday, July 7th, at 11 a.m.

Rev. Snodgrass succeeds Rev. Nadeem Khokhar, who had served Crenshaw since 2018 and who has been appointed to Bethel United Methodist Church in Faquier County.

Rev. Snodgrass is a “second career” pastor, hearing God’s call after nearly 20 years in the business world

Steve holds a Master of Divinity degree from Virginia Union University, is a Provisional Elder in the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church, has been married to his wife, Laura, for 27 years, and is blessed with an ever-growing family of sons and grandchildren.

Pastor Snodgrass has been serving the Waverly-Carsley Cooperative Parish for nine years. When not at church or ministering in the community, you may find him reading, studying, or playing golf or pickleball.

Crenshaw Methodists say they look forward to Pastor Steven and his wife, Laura, as they begin their new path in Blackstone. Mrs. Snodgrass holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education.
