Looking at a portion of Jesus’ prayer that we find in the Gospel of John. This prayer is known as Jesus’ Highly Priestly prayer. Jesus prays for all believers that “all of them may be one” with each other. God calls believers to be one not only in each other but in God as well.
This is what the Christian community is all about: to be one in each other and God, and the purpose of living in such a community is to support one another, grow and help others grow in Christ’s likeness. How does this prayer challenge your faith?
