A Renewed Church

This week Christians around the world celebrate Pentecost Sunday. Pentecost is celebrated on the fiftieth day after Easter Sunday; the Greek word pentecoste means “fiftieth day.” This signifies the descending of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the church. God, The Holy Spirit as the third person in the trinity, continues to guide us, teach us, convict us, and transform us.
Here, Pastor Nadeem takes time to pause the sermon series “Apocalypse” and speaks to the five characteristics of a renewed church that we learn from the first century church; these characteristics are laid out in the book of Acts 2:42-47. Join us to hear more about these characteristics and how being a part of a renewed and growing church relates to each of us on an individual level.
